This adventure is coming to an end. In the blink of an eye, it’s over! It has also given us quite a toolbox, as we are now better equipped to face life’s challenges thanks to this expedition. I was referring to the participants, of course, but I was also talking about the other members of the expedition. We all get better through our mutual contacts.

Sadly, I left the group early this morning because of family and professional obligations, a better person after my sailing experience. You should have seen me editing this last video on the bus from Campbellton to Montreal. Even on tenth viewing, each sequence brought back strong emotions!

I am proud of my participation in this expedition and, when I listen to Wendy and Jonathan, I can see the merits of the foundation. To be part of its work is far more than a vacation experience. It’s a launchpad to help those youths who were tormented so early in life.

As Patrick was saying yesterday, I need to share with others the intensity of what we have experienced. I only whish those twelve resilient youths inspire others to renew their appetite for life and hope for better days.

I beg the On the Tip of the Toes Foundation to continue their noble mission. If the opportunity ever arises, I will be ready to raise the mainsail with them, once again!!
