Claire Grenon

Administrative coordinator

Claire has been administrative coordinator at the On the Tip of the Toes foundation since July 2009. With a degree in office administration and accounting as well as experience in the field, she has been providing support to the foundation for more than 10 years.

We are a versatile team, which allows me to use my potential at work. I am fortunate to work professionally with colleagues for whom caring is important and to contribute over the years to the various fundraising activities of the foundation.

Having become a sedentary person over time, the magic of rubbing shoulders with nature lovers and the outdoors finally worked on Claire. She now walks regularly during her lunch hours, inspiring her colleagues by her diligence. Most recently, she began indoor training at the UQAC Sports Pavilion and added tennis to her list of activities. In addition, she is equipped with camping equipment so she can fully enjoy the outdoors.

In her spare time, Claire makes impressive quilts. Fascinated by the Celtic world, she travels regularly to Nova Scotia to study the bodhran (Scottish drum), step dance and Gaelic singing at the Gaelic College of Cape Breton . Her attraction to Scotland is known to many people and her greatest dream is to go there when she retires.

Nearing the end of a successful career, she says she is grateful to be able to work with colleagues who push her to invest in and stay abreast of advances in the field of office administratioin.
