If today’s wake-up routine was similar to those of the previous days, the rest of the day will be different as we will travel by bus to the small town of Kapuskasing (population 8,000) for lunch. Once there, while waiting for our burgers, hot-dogs, poutine and fries, some of us toured the local museum while others visited the Tim Horton washrooms. Oddly enough, it takes only a few days in the wilderness to make us appreciate those commodities, which we otherwise take for granted.

Some 118 km later, the group will overnight in the town of Cochrane (pop. 5,000). What a pleasure to come back to our personal effects (clean city clothes, perfume…) and to take long hot showers before our last supper together.
Tomorrow will be an early wake-up call (around 6 a.m.) and a long day of travelling back home to our families.
