On May 7, will you dare you shave your head?

It is with pride that the On the Tip of the Toes Foundation announces the 17th edition of the Shave-O-Thon Marie-Hélène Côté presented by Desjardins. It is at the arena in Saint-Bruno (Lac- St-Jean, QC) that several hundred people will gather on May 7 for the cause. The event, preceded by a benefit brunch, will be held under the honorary presidency of Mr. Stéphane Breton, Regional Vice President of Desjardins Group.

With the message “Cooperate for Youth”, M. Breton invites the public to join the Shave-O-Thon Marie-Hélène Côté and to shave their head in solidarity and compassion for all young people who have to fight against the cancer.

Putting a price on one’s head and accepting to shave one’s hair is a highly significant, great and noble gesture of compassion and solidarity with regard to all those who are dealing with cancer.

The money raised by the shaved allows On the Tip of the Toes Foundation to continue its important work with young people with cancer and to change their lives by offering free tremendous therapeutic adventure expeditions.

Over the years, nearly 1.9 million dollars were raised by more than 1,200 brave fans. You are invited; but, there is one question still: on May 7, will you dare?
