“My name is Christine Morin, I am 28 years old and I come from Granby. "

I had a good night’s sleep. I can pretty well sleep anywhere. The bunks are small, not too wide. Can’t move much with our baggage packed around the bed. It’s nice to sleep on the water, a nice trip.

The high point of the day was the sailing, not yet on the sea but on the river, on the fjord. The bonus was to start learning the ABC’s of sailing, how to operate the equipment. That was the highlight of the day for me.

And we saw many belugas. How many? Can’t say, but they were swimming in small pods. Must have been ten or more. They came very close to us. It was quite a sight.

Right now, I feel Zen. As soon as I am near water, I feel I’m on vacation. So, being on a sailing ship, after nearly 24 hours, I simply feel very happy. Our group is just wonderful. Can’t wait to get to know them better, this is only our first day together. I’m very excited to be here, no stress at all. I know I am in good company.

To feel Zen I need to step away from myself, I don’t like solitude. So with all these wonderful people around me, and, as I said earlier, to be near water, is all I need to feel very Zen.

I have no special requests. I feel very comfortable in this environment. People respond to our needs, be it for food or for psychological support. We are well taken care of. Don’t need anything more for the time being.”
