From March 11 to 18, 14 young people in remission will gather in the Charlevoix region (Quebec) for a unique experience of great winter expedition. They will dogsled to the rhythm of the group and nature through the boreal forest. In an enchanted setting, where mountains and rocky cliffs meet at the foot of valleys crisscrossed by numerous streams, no doubt that the region will all charm them.
Participants will meet at the cottage of Pourvoirie du Pic-bois to get to know each other and connect with these other young people who live a day-to-day experience similar to theirs. They will spend a second day there in order to complete the preparations for the expedition and to be introduced to dogsledding. The expedition on dogsleds will then begin, taking them on a tour of several kilometres through a region recognized by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve.
Totally free of charge, our expeditions take place in the heart of some of the most beautiful landscapes of Canada. Depending on the case, we discover them by canoe, kayak, rafting, sailing, walking, skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling or dog sledding.
Follow our young people’s adventures on our blog and on social media.
