On three occasions this week, 15 participants took part in sharing sessions around the fire. They take the time to share their goals and personal experiences related to adventure or, on the interactions they have with the group. After six days without connection, now is the time to let them share their emotions with you.

Here is the message they wanted to send to their relatives, sometimes in an ironic or humorous way, after another hard rafting day during which many adventurers were introduced to white water kayaking.
“I am experiencing a fantastic moment on the Magpie River. I learned many things and I made lots of new friends. Nature speaks to me and I would like to stay here much longer. I nonetheless miss my friends and my family. Enjoy life as if it were your last day. ”— Mario
“Everything is going much better than I would have imagined. The landscapes are magnificent. I have a lot of fun, but I also miss everyone. Thank you for convincing me to do this expedition. 27.06.13.”— Marc-André
“This expedition is truly amazing. It’s really an adventure that allows me to gain confidence in myself. I swim, I go rafting and kayaking in the rapids, while enjoying the breathtakingscenery. For mom and dad, my usual message: I’m fine. I’m still alive and I’m not hurt. Andrew: I’m still in one piece, as promised. ”— Arielle
“Hello everyone. The trip is awesome. It is really above my expectations. The days go by so fast. I cannot wait to see you again. Life is good. I love you. ”— Jean-Christophe
“I’m still alive. I managed to fulfil ‘nature’s calls’ in a hole and it went well. I’m doing a lot of completely zany things and I have fun like crazy! I miss you. Do not forget to feed my bird. ”— Roya
“I want to sell all my things and I would like you to send me the Monster noodles and Godfather pizza. I look forward to seeing you at my parents’ 60th anniversary. ”— Eric
“The nature and adventures do me good. I nonetheless keep you in my mind. Xxx. ”— Aurélie
“Until now, the expedition is great. You better start kayaking if you want us to remain friends ☺. I miss you anyway. If I could, I would stay here. I made lots of new friends. ”— Diego
“I’m still alive even if I had to face the rapids on my own in my kayak. This experience helps me to push my limits. No phone, I managed to connect with the river. I miss everyone, but especially to my dog. ”— Alexia
“Hi. Thanks to everyone who made this trip possible. This expedition is really fantastic and nature is wonderful. Sorry Mom and Dad, but I don’t miss you. See you soon. ”— Madison
“Within a few days I learned rafting and kayaking. I eat better than at home. Don’t worry about me, because I am in good hands here. ”— Gabrielle
“Kelsy, I hope you ate vegetables since I left. Mom and Dad, I hope you follow our adventures on this blog. Martin, I hope you do not read this blog and that you enjoy Balithoroughly. And hello to everyone. ”— Tanya
“Surrounded by nature, I am practising for paradise. As you know, today is the happiest day of my life. I cannot wait to tell you about this and I bring you some peace of Magpie. ”— Valerie
“We have become rugged outdoorsmen. I think of you all. I miss my bed, but sleeping in a tent is also very good. The gang is really great and the fishing is excellent. Tell Nanny to send me cookies. ”— Anthony
“I am doing well and I miss everybody, but I don’t want to leave. Fishing is great and I caught the biggest trout I’ve ever seen. ”— Aaron
As I write these lines, the adventurers are around the fire, eating four-cheese lasagna. This is called the gourmet camping!
After a day in the rain, nice weather has returned and we are now well settled in camp Petanque, since there are many round stones all over. Stars appear in the sky, announcing another beautiful evening.
