65 - Pilot project Catch and Relief Fall 2021 - Sainte-Marguerite River, QC

I believe that, above all, I’m a mom. I have a wonderful 14-year-old son. Then, I’m a teacher. I couldn’t have done anything else. I was happiest in my classroom, with my students. And finally, I’m a patient. I had the chance to take part in the “Lâcher-prise” expedition, where I met people full of love, empathy, and passion!

The team at On the Tip of the Toes worked hard to offer us a beautiful stay on the Marguerite River, where we learned how to fly fish—a group of about ten women in our forties living with metastatic cancer.

I want to get involved with this cause because it’s impossible to truly give back even a fraction of what I received during that expedition. But most of all, because I know how difficult and isolating this diagnosis can be. I can’t imagine the challenges that young expedition participants must face. This cause means so much to me!
