My name is David Roy, and I took part in the Grand Expedition that took place at the Seigneurie du Triton in March 2023. Being in remission from lymphoma since 2016, the expedition felt like a way to finally turn the page on that difficult chapter.
Beyond the unforgettable connections and the breathtaking landscapes, I discovered just how powerful nature’s effects are on me. Naturally anxious, I was guided by the facilitators who helped our group appreciate the silences of the wild — and helped me realize how much I cherish them. Since the expedition, I no longer experience my outdoor adventures the same way. I live them in a way that brings me healing.
When I was approached to be part of this campaign, I didn’t hesitate for a second. The impact of these expeditions — true therapeutic outdoor adventures — has been immense in my life and in the lives of every single participant.
Because nature doesn’t judge you. It simply lives with you.
