After cancer treatments I had become a shell of who I was. Finding the On the Tip of Your Toes Foundation changed my mental and emotional recovery post-cancer. Participating in the Magpie rafting expedition – was the conerstone in making me reach for the stars again. I am still discovering the impacts my participation in the expedition is having on my life today.
Late last year, I was given the opportunity to move to Texas for work, and while I would normally have hesitated – I remember the quote the foundation tells us: No one told them it was impossible so they did. And here I am living my best life in a completely new country.
